Well ~2011~ is finally here! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I read an interesting article the other day about keeping a photo journal. 365 photos! I think it's a great idea,so I'm going to give it a shot! I started on New Year's Day, even though I (yes, the photographer) forgot to take my camera to our family get-together! I think it was because I had my hands full of food and presents as we were leaving our house! Anyway, my aunt was there and let me use her blackberry to capture this photo of my son and nephew playing a game on an ipod! It was really funny watching them play on that little screen!
And here is today's photo: "My Inspiration Journal" There are so many things that inspire me, I decided to make a notebook to keep them all in.
I'm looking forward to new & exciting things in 2011!
Today was an AWESOME day for Photographers everywhere! It's called "Help Portrait"! I just wanted to share this with all of you, cause I think it's amazing that no matter what you do for a living, everyone has something to give! So take what you know how to do and use it to make someone smile!!
I found this Facebook Page the other day and just loved it! There are ALL kinds of tips and ideas for how to dress yourself and your family for your photo shoot! If you are like me, you'll be getting everyone together for pictures on Thanksgiving! Check out "Wardrobe Wednesday" for some cool ideas!!
I'm a photographer who lives life out loud! I love coffee (a little too much), good friends, good movies, and photography! I'm married to my best friend, and have 3 boys who always keep me movin'! My love for my family is what led me to a career in photography. When my boys were little, I wanted to remember all those sweet little things about them! I know I'm a little partial, but they were the cutest little boys in the world! I was always taking pictures of them--whenever I could hold them down long enough! From there, I started taking pictures of everyone! So finally, I decided to go to school and make it official. That was many years ago and I have never looked back! I have the best job in the world!
I absolutely love creating images for my clients. I feel like I get to be a part of that special moment, creating memories for their family.
My photography style could probably best be described as clean and simple . My goal is to capture the person or families personality while keeping the image light and uncluttered.
