Spring is here!

I enjoy winter, but I LOVE spring!  The sound of the birds outside my window and the first flowers to bloom just put an extra skip in my step!!  The sun is back and the last of the ice is melting ...   :)

Help for Japan

I love both of these organizations!  I just thought I'd share a couple of these for those of you looking for ways to help.  The need is so great and for many of us, being able to go  is not a possibility.  But we can still help, not to mention pray for the people of Japan!

Check them out and help if you can!  We can all do something!

~WPPI~

I got to attend WPPI for the first time this year and it was amazing!  I attended several seminars given by some of my favorite photographer's around!  I learned alot, but the best part for me was getting to meet other photographers (not to mention getting to hang out with some good friends from Indy)!  A couple of friends and I did mangage to make some time to go "shoot" one night and I grabbed a couple of shots whenever I could spare a few minutes from all the classes.

This is the MGM where the conference was held.  I think there were like, 16,000 photographers there!  It was packed!

Palm Trees in February...

The MGM Lion and some flowers at the Spa!

This really struck me as funny!  I wasn't sure if these guys were just hangin' out or if they were lunch maybe???

The last night before I left for home, some friends & I went out to do a little "night shooting".

This little dog was too cute!  Then we got a little side-tracked at Urban Outfitters, were my friend Brandy found some hats!  (Just a few, LOL)!

(Like I said, just a few...)

(A few more...)

With so many hats, I decided to have a little fun with some "color processing"!  What do you think??

What can I say?  We had a blast!

I love the decor in this store!! Wow!

We were taking photos and Brandy was adding cool textures with her phone. I decided to make some cool textures of my own (through the dirty window, LOL)!

Put all our hats away and headed over to the "Bellagio" to look at the fountain.

This fountain always makes me think of "Ocean's Eleven".  I love that movie.

It was a "jam-packed" week!  I'm still trying to digest all the amazing information!  So now, it's back to work, but I'm already excited for next year!

Those are darling. Twins would be so fun.

Snips & Snails & Puppy dog tails...

Here's a recent baby session at the studio.  I had so much fun with this little guy!  He is a ball of energy! He was so curious about everything, especially when he found the candy!!  I got to photograph him last year and now he's a whole year old. It's amazing how fast time flies!

       Here's a peek at last year's session:

YEAH! :) I love them. Definite favorite is the tie shot.

You captured Hudson's personality just perfectly! He is just too cute, isn't he?

Cali Atkinson  commented on  January 31st, 2011

These photos of my wonderful nephew are fantastic!! Isn't he cute?! (course I'm not biased...)I love the expression you caught in the first pic. Your style is very natural and allows the subject's face to be center stage - a job well done! Wish you lived in my area. =)

Joy Hess  commented on  January 31st, 2011

Great work, Tabitha! I think the one in the tie is my favorite too! They are all super cute though. :)

Robin Gates  commented on  January 31st, 2011

These photos draw you in. Makes me want to kiss the subject! You can see his personality peeking out of them, especially the one with the lollipop and the very first photo. I love the variety of ideas and "scenes" you've created. Nothing looks "canned." It allows for expression to be the focus.

Megan  commented on  January 31st, 2011

Love the photos!! My favorite is definitely the one in the shirt and tie - such a neat idea!

Kate  commented on  January 31st, 2011

We like the "lamby" shot. He looks cuddly!! =) And we like cuddly babies around here. Great pics!

Cathy Flink  commented on  February 1st, 2011

Here's comment number 9! Not bad looking for a Flink.

Andy Flink  commented on  February 4th, 2011

That's my boy! I love the pictures of him in the tie!

AJ  commented on  February 6th, 2011

Soooooooooo cute!

Pat Stevens  commented on  February 11th, 2011

Favorite is the first tie photo but the cowboy is a good one too. There's just something about little kids and tiny cowboy boots. VERY nicely done!

~Winter wonderland~

Another snow shoot!  I had so much fun with these girls!  It was FREEZING outside, so we jumped out of the car just long enough to get the shot and then RAN back to the car to get warm!!  It was pretty comical!  But the park was gorgeous and it was TOTALLY worth it!!  We ended up back at the studio, where we played around with bubble gum for a bit!
